A century after single-handedly trading his life to strike down Cheon-Ma, the fearsome Leader of the Demonic Cult, legendary swordsman Cheong-Myeong draws breath once more. The titanic clash had nearly wiped out the elite martial arts factions of ancient China, leaving a scarred landscape in its wake. But instead of entering the afterlife, Cheong-Myeong reincarnates into a future he never anticipated, inhabiting a body with a second chance at existence.

His triumphant return quickly sours when he discovers the state of his beloved Mount Hua Sect. Once a proud pillar of martial supremacy, the sect has withered into a forgotten, destitute shadow of its former glory, struggling just to survive. Fueled by righteous anger, lingering regret, and his trademark unfiltered attitude, Cheong-Myeong picks up his sword once again. He resolves to drag the fallen sect back to the pinnacle of Murim society, even if he has to whip every single disciple into shape through sheer, chaotic tough love.

At the center of this revival stands Cheong-Myeong, a master strategist and unmatched swordsman trapped in the body of an eager youth, blending terrifying combat prowess with endless mischief. As he begins recruiting and training a new generation, he crosses paths with earnest disciples who slowly learn to look past his abrasive exterior. This dynamic creates a brilliant mix of high-stakes martial arts action and razor-sharp comedy, as the ancient master uses deeply unorthodox methods to whip his new martial brothers and sisters into formidable warriors.
