Four millennia ago, Lucas Trowman stood unrivaled as the greatest archmage in human history. His supreme power posed a direct threat to the terrifying Demigods, who condemned him to an eternity of conscious torment, trapping his mind while his body decayed. Instead of breaking, Lucas endured. When fate finally snaps his chains, he awakens in the modern era inside the body of Frei Blake, universally known as the weakest and most talentless student at the prestigious Westroad Academy for mages.

Stepping into a remarkably fragile new vessel, Lucas discovers a shocking truth: human magic has stagnated for four thousand years, barely advancing an inch since his reign. Suspecting the sinister influence of the Demigods behind this intellectual drought, the legendary archmage resolves to climb the ranks of power all over again. Armed with ancient wisdom, flawless mana control, and an unquenchable thirst for vengeance, Lucas begins his silent revolution from the absolute bottom of the magical world.

Key Characters and Dynamics

Lucas Trowman formerly Frei Blake serves as the driving force of the series, a supreme master of magic masquerading as a hopeless academy dropout. His sharp intellect, brutal efficiency, and utter disdain for modern magical shortcuts allow him to outsmart instructors and elite peers alike with effortless arrogance.

The Demigods act as the ultimate antagonists of the narrative, a pantheon of immortal beings who rule the shadows and dictate the limits of mortal civilization. Their arrogance in leaving Lucas alive sets the stage for a cataclysmic collision between ancient might and modern divinity.
