Step into a grim dark fantasy realm where magic is never a gift, but a heavy burden left behind by catastrophic forces. Ashaf carries himself with quiet poise, a slender man burdened by the weight of a heavy coffin strapped tightly to his back and accompanied by a haunting flock of black crows. Beside him walks Guideau, a fierce and volatile young woman whose feral instincts, long fangs, and predatory eyes reveal a dangerous nature. Together, this unlikely duo travels from town to town following a singular, unforgiving philosophy: wherever a witch walks, only curses and ruin trail behind.

Their latest destination is a seemingly peaceful settlement entirely under the spell of a local ruler. This tattooed sorceress has convinced the gullible townsfolk that she is their selfless hero, masking her dark art with charm and devotion. Unfazed by the adoring crowds or the threat of local militias, Ashaf and Guideau possess unfinished business that cannot be ignored. Backed by overwhelming magical power and relentless determination, they will gladly cut down any mob, guard, or army garrison standing between them and their ultimate target.

Ashaf and Guideau form one of the most compelling dynamic duos in modern dark fantasy. Ashaf operates as the brains of the operation, utilizing sharp intellect, immense magical aptitude, and a calm demeanor to navigate complex political landscapes and dangerous encounters. Guideau serves as the muscle and the edge, unleashing unbridled physical fury and terrifying beast-like abilities when diplomacy fails. Their contrasting personalities create sharp friction, yet an undeniable bond of necessity ties them together as they hunt down rogue witches across a bleak landscape.
